For centuries, April 1st has been a day for fools–those falling victim to April Fools’ Day practical jokes and those pulling the merry pranks. Some of my favorite legendary pranks in history include the time Taco Bell announced in 1996 that it had bought the Liberty Bell to help with the U.S. national debt; and when the BBC program, Panorama, showed a family in Switzerland harvesting spaghetti from a
'spaghetti tree' in 1957.

Speaking of fools, there’s a well-known adage: “A fool and his money are soon parted.” While that may be true in casinos and racetracks, it falls flat when the conversation turns to my favorite topic: PSMailers. That’s because PSMailers pressure-seal systems are one of the smartest investments any office or organization can make to reduce cost and increase productivity.

Any fool can see the many benefits of PSMailers:

  • Easier mail prep saves valuable time, money, resources. PSMailers quickly and easily fold and seal documents in a fraction of the time the task can be done manually. By reducing the time-consuming workload of a menial task, these systems freeing up your company’s precious time and resources.
  • Faster mail processing reduces costs. The process of printing and folding documents and stuffing envelopes is cut in half thanks to PSMailers. After the documents are printed, the pressure seal machine prepares them directly for mailing, saving time and money in labor and supplies.
  • Reduce buying, storing and custom printing expenses. With a PSMailers system, the pressure seal self-mailer forms serve as their own envelope, eliminating the cost of buying and storing expensive custom stationery and envelopes.
  • Variety of PSMailers documents meet a range of mailing needs. Available in 11” or 14” length with V-folds, C-folds, EZ folds or Z-folds, pressure seal self-mailer forms can be used for a remarkable number of applications, from payroll and accounting to direct mail marketing campaigns.

Perhaps it’s no coincidence that April 1st is also the date in 1778 that Oliver Pollock, a New Orleans businessman, created the “$” symbol for the U.S. dollar. My advice to you this month is: don’t let the foolishness of April fool you–put your dollar signs to work in your office with a wise investment in PSMailers!
