Good news for a change

W-JanBlog GoodNews

With every new year always comes renewed efforts to do something – something different, better, or new, like: start exercising, stop snacking, quit a bad habit, read a good book, save more, “Amazon” less.

A few years ago, I resolved to finally trim an overgrown tree in our backyard at the first blush of spring. With my trusty 6-foot wooden ladder, I proceeded to aggressively cut years of dead branches and wild growth from the top step. It didn’t take long before I confirmed the laws of physics that day: ladder stability requires all four legs to be firmly planted on the ground. Not three. On the inglorious way down, a gnarly tree branch sliced my arm like a skilled surgeon and a prickly berry bush cushioned my fall with appropriate insult. Twenty stitches later, I resolved to hire a professional tree trimmer next time.

But this year, my resolution is not based on a bruised ego or battered backside. Rather, it is one believe I can carry out successfully and with positive results: focus on good news.

It should come as no surprise that the first place I turn to find good news is PSMailers!

  • New upgrade: If operating more time- and cost-efficiently is a high priority in 2021, a new PSMailers system will be received as good news around the office.
  • New design: Great news for busy offices - the popular PSM6000 model now features a touch screen display for enhanced user interface to seal up to 6,000 forms per hour.
  • New uses: Documentation is increasing in demand. Pressure-seal documents are ideal for mailing medical test results, screening facility information, hours of operation, and more.
  • New ideas: The turn of a new year is typically a time to gear up for W2s, 1099s and other important tax season documents. But there are endless other ways to use PSMailers machines and documents. What new ideas will you discover in 2021?

If you haven’t made your own New Year’s resolution yet (or have already failed to keep it), I encourage you to join me in the quest for good news this year. And take it from someone older and wiser about New Year’s resolutions: when you reach for the stars, be sure to keep four ladder feet on the ground.
