Calling-all-Happy-Taxpayers-Blog

In 2017, the U.S. government hauled in $3.32 trillion dollars in income taxes. Those kind of numbers can make your head swim. Even more astounding, however, is this little data nugget: only 51 percent of Americans say that the amount of federal income tax they paid in 2017 was too high. Obviously, they didn’t survey me.

With nearly half the U.S. taxpayers all too happy to hand over their hard earned money to the federal government, it’s only fitting to post this friendly PSMailers reminder checklist on how to gear up for the new tax season:

 Are you ready to meet the looming W2 tax forms mailing deadline?

 Is the PSMailers machine tuned up?

 Are you stocked up on the right forms?

 Do you have the right fold design(s)?

 Have you conducted a test run before running an entire batch?

If you can’t answer “yes” to all of the above questions, we’ve got your back. Our top-notch Customer Service and Tech Team is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST to answer all of your questions and help you resolve any issues you might be experiencing. Our team of experts know PSMailers systems inside and out, and can have you up and running in no time.

In addition to our Customer Service support, you can find all kinds of great info on PSMailers equipment and other products by calling our toll-free number: 800.464.5030 or click here

Free and easy…which is more than you can say about the ever-changing tax code.

An Overdue Lesson in the Value of Self-Mailers

One warm, sunny day this summer (okay, who am I kidding? …it was miserably hot and sweaty), my mind and body lay adrift on a raft in the pool; my nearly finished overdue library book resting on a towel on a lounge chair near the edge of the pool. With the sudden gust of a summer breeze, this blissful tranquility was interrupted by a gentle kersplash. There, floating blissfully itself in the shallow end of the pool was my paperback novel, sent airborne by my windswept towel, drinking up enough chlorinated water to fill an inflatable baby pool. I dog-paddled from the deep end to its heroic rescue. But the damage was done.

As it turns out, formerly wet books – even those thoroughly dried with a hair dryer – are frowned upon when returned at the library. If only I had heeded that overdue notice I received just a few days prior. Instead of a 50-cent fine, I paid $27.99 for my overdue sins.

In a water-soaked way, my personal folly draws attention to the value of self-sealed reminders, notices and other business communication like those produced by PSMailers systems. Printing, folding, sealing and addressing communication all in one system is a true time and money saver for public institutions, schools, and businesses that operate on limited resources.

PSMailers systems are available in a wide range of sizes and capacities to fit the volume needs of any size operation. From overdue notices, grade reports and other confidential information to marketing promotions, PSMailers can handle anything that needs to be printed and mailed efficiently.

So, my friends, I implore you to learn from my mistakes. Always renew your library books on time… always keep them as far away from water as possible…and always remember the productivity, flexibility and efficiency of PSMailers!

Swimmingly yours,

PSMailers Guy

Feeling The Heat!

Feeling the heat? PSMailers to the rescue!

This summer has already been a scorcher for much of the country, with heat spells in the 90s-plus F°¬ blistering communities from the east coast to the southwest. How hot was it today? It was so hot that you could almost hear the king of late night comedy, Johnny Carson, riff on the heat.

During these hot, steamy days of summer, who needs to sweat the time-consuming, labor intensive task of folding and sealing documents with outdated equipment? Help businesses keep their cool with PSMailers Pressure Seal Systems that save time, labor and money on the entire pressure seal mailing process:

• PSMailers keeps it “chill” with a line of compact, Small Volume folder/sealers designed for businesses that need 1,800-3,000 sheets/hour capacity.

• Busy offices can find much relief with PSMailers Medium Volume systems equipped to handle a demanding load without demanding too much of an organization’s budget or space.

• When the work really heats up, PSMailers Large Volume and Specialty models make light work of heavy loads.

This is also the perfect opportunity to remind PSMailers customers to store PSMailers documents in a temperature-controlled environment to ensure they are always in perfect condition for printing, folding, sealing.

So before you start seeing chickens lay hard boiled eggs this summer, help turn sweat into “Sweet!!” with PSMailers to the rescue.

See you at the pool! Last one in is a rotten (hard-boiled) egg!

Know your fold!

The art of origami and its possibilities with PSMailers

If you ever made a paper airplane, newspaper hat, or “cootie catcher” as a child, you can thank the ingenuity of ancient Japanese monks. The art of origami, or paper folding, started not as child’s play but as part of religious and ceremonial traditions carried out by monks in Japan in the sixth century. Modern paper folding has taken on new shapes over the years, evolving into simple child’s play, advanced mathematical theory, remarkable works of art, and even simple functional forms (literally) – such as PSMailers documents.

While not as artistic or elaborate as today’s origami works, PSMailers documents come in a wide range of fold styles that enhance and simplify important communications. Knowing your folds and how they can be used will unfold endless possibilities to print, seal, and mail projects. Take a look at PSMailers for a wide range of documents from payroll to marketing plus these six fold options…

How Self-Sealed Documents Can Keep Kids Honest (Honestly!)

Confession time.  As a young lad in high school, I was admittedly not a model student. There were too many other distractions to occupy my mind and my time. That caught up with me, of course, so when mid-term grades came out one year, I had to actually use my brain and think, fast.  While not studious, I was no dummy and intercepted the grade report in our mailbox before dear mom and dad came home. Carefully opening the envelope so that it could be resealed, I ever so skillfully changed a well-deserved “D” to a miraculous “B.”

Did I get away with it?  Unbelievably, I did. Looking back, it’s not the proudest moment of my youth. The real lesson to be learned here is the value of self-sealed documents, like those produced by PSMailers, that preserve and protect critical, often confidential, information from educational institutions.

Printing, folding, sealing and addressing communication all in one system is a real time and money saver for schools that operate on such limited resources today.  PSMailers self-sealed documents keep the line of communication with parents and families direct and free from any youthful indiscretions.

Because PSMailer systems are available in a wide range of sizes and capacities, they can fit the volume needs of school sites and districts of any size. They can be used to send grade reports, athletic department information, fundraising announcements, payroll… anything that needs to be printed and mailed efficiently.

My confession today serves not only to clear my conscience, but also as a public service announcement to parents everywhere: if your child eagerly offers to get the mail for you every day around report card time, the jig is up!

Remorsefully yours,

PSMailers Guy

P.S. Mom and Dad, if you’re reading this…please forgive me! I promise never to do it again.
