When unlikely film stars R2D2 and C3PO hit the big screen in 1977, they not only laid the groundwork for sci-fi fan geekdom the likes of which the world hadn’t seen since The Beatles played Shea Stadium – but these futuristic Tin Men also introduced modern society to the concept of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Machines processing and providing information much like humans, only faster, smarter and, dare we say, with more personality and humor. Great technological and computing advancements have been made since we discovered AI in a galaxy far, far away; and these two steampunk prototypes have been replaced by female voice-enabled interfaces such as Siri and Alexa, now ever-present in smart phones and homes around the world.

As AI becomes integrated into nearly every facet of personal and business realms, Customer Service is no exception. AI can, and will in some businesses, eventually replace human CSRs. But for now, AI serves as an IA (Intelligent Assistant) to CSRs, helping to enhance the personal customer service experience.

Which brings us to PSMailers Customer Service. (“Finally, PSMailers Guy!” you must be thinking.) In keeping with the acronym theme of this blog, I would characterize our Customer Support representatives as PSMIA (PSMailers Intelligence Assistants). Highly trained experts on the entire PSMailers line, functions and features (and not one bit – or bot – artificial, I might add). When you call the dedicated toll-free line (800-464-5030), Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, you will reach a living, breathing PSMailers customer service representative ready and able to provide personal assistance with installation, troubleshooting, and product information, and more.

So whenever you feel the dark side of AI upon you, simply remember these (paraphrased) words of the wise and wonderful Yoda, “May the force of the PSMI be with you.”
