In the natural world, spring is synonymous with new life and growth. In the chaotic world known as my household, it meant adopting a baby chick last year. She’s so cute, they squealed. We’ll take care of her, they promised. Just this one time, pleaded Mrs. PSMailers Guy. What could go wrong, I wondered?

I’m no spring chicken, but I know that baby chicks don’t stay little for very long. Within a mere 4-6 months, those fluffy foul become full-grown, egg-laying chickens. A hen can lay more than 300 eggs per year. And if that isn’t enough to keep you up ‘til the rooster crows, the waste made by a chicken in its lifetime can make enough electricity to run a 100-watt bulb for five hours!

Now before you think I suffer from a severe case of Alektorophobia (fear of chickens), let me explain what this fine-feathered experience has to do with PSMailers. As the flora and fauna around us spring to life this season, it can inspire us to grow our business in new ways.
